ScaleDiary 1.2 Released

Today, ScaleDiary 1.2 was released on the Apple App Store. ScaleDiary is the no-nonsense app that helps you track your weight every day, with clear graphs and charts to help you understand your progress over time. This release adds a feature I’ve wanted to build for a while, on top of a big rewrite of the app’s data layer that makes everything faster and more reliable. For more information see ScaleDiary.

What’s New #

  • You can now track your waist circumference alongside your weight. It’s off by default — turn it on in Settings — and syncs to Apple Health just like your weight does.
  • Press and hold anywhere on the weight or BMI chart to see the exact value for that date.
  • Tapping a reminder notification now takes you straight to the right screen in the app.
  • You can choose where the floating add button sits on screen, in Settings.
  • BMI now updates automatically whenever you change your height.
  • Charts load faster, scroll more smoothly, and open showing your most recent entry.
  • Reminders reschedule correctly after restarting the app, and editing a reminder no longer leaves the old one behind.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause a white screen the first time you opened the app.
  • The add button now uses the new Liquid Glass look on iOS 26.
  • Improved translations across all supported languages.

I want to keep improving ScaleDiary in the future, your feedback is invaluable for that. Let me know what you think. You can download ScaleDiary here.
